If you haven't signed up for your music google classroom yet, go to classroom.google.com - click the + in the top right, then click "Join class." 

You will be asked for a code. copy and paste the appropriate code for your grade level. 

I know how much you love listening to and making music, and I miss being in the music room with you guys! The other music teachers and I want you to be able to continue making music and being musical so we’ve come up with a project for you to do at home (#1 on the list below). We are also including ways to listen to and create music.

These activities are appropriate for all grade levels.
1. Create a story to a song or piece of music and then draw or write your story: Listen to a song on the
radio, TV, or on any device. You might even want to invite your grown up to share a song they like.
Then, create a story and either draw or write your story down.
2. GoNoodle - Create your own account. Then choose your favorite songs to sing and dance to.
3. Chrome Music Lab - Super fun music experiments that are easy to use.
4. The Music Show - Kid friendly videos that break down the element of music in a fun accessible way.

We've also provided grade specific work sheets for grades 1-5 that you can see in the grade boxes on this page. (Feel free to check out the work sheets from other grades if you want.)

April 2 - Grade 4 Chorus Day (during school hours at Nyack High School - transportation provided by district)

May 14 – Grade 5 Musical (7:00 PM at Upper Nyack Elementary School)

May 21 - Grades 1-2 Concert (9:30 AM at UNES)

May 27 - Grade 4-5 Concert (7:00 PM at Nyack High School)

May 29 - Grade 5 Bridges (during school hours at Nyack High School - transportation provided by district)

June 10 - Grade 3 Concert (9:30 AM at UNES)

June 25 – Grade 5 Moving Up (9:30 at Upper Nyack Elementary School)
