A Message from the Principal

Dear Upper Nyack Elementary School Families,

It's hard to believe another school year has come to an end.

The building has gotten a little quieter over the past few days, and I already miss the energy our students bring to UNES. The laughter in the hallways, the morning greetings, and all of the little moments that make an elementary school feel alive are what make this job so rewarding.

Thank you for trusting us with your children this year. It is a responsibility I never take lightly. Every day, our staff works to ensure each child feels safe, valued, challenged, and known, and it has been a privilege to watch our students grow throughout the year.

As you head into summer, I hope you'll take time to slow down and enjoy being together. Read a good book, spend time outside, visit the library, or simply enjoy the everyday moments that make summers special. Those memories often last much longer than we realize.

While you're enjoying a well-deserved break, our team will be preparing for another exciting year at UNES. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September.
