A Reminder: New York State Law Mandates that all new students, Kindergarten, Second and Fourth grades submit an updated Physical to the nurse Mrs. Meyerson.

Math Games encourage number sense in our students.  This year, each child will receive a deck of cards, a die within a die and a packet of math games which is provided through a grant from O.U.R. Upper Nyack Kids   We would encourage all parents and children to play the games together and have fun practicing number sense this summer.

The Upper Nyack Math Olympiad team participated in a district wide culminating contest on Thursday, May 27th. Afterwards, the children participated in an awards ceremony and breakfast. Ms.Downey is very proud of AJ Ines, the high scorer from the team, who was presented with a trophy. Other participants received honorable mentions and were awarded certificates and banners for all the hard work they put in this year.  To read more about the contest, click here
